down 2SA 13 05 And Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee {down} on thy

bed, and make thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see

thee, say unto him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and

give me meat, and dress the meat in my sight, that I may see

[it], and eat [it] at her hand.

down 2SA 13 06 So Amnon lay {down}, and made himself sick: and

when the king was come to see him, Amnon said unto the king, I

pray thee, let Tamar my sister come, and make me a couple of

cakes in my sight, that I may eat at her hand.

down 2SA 13 08 So Tamar went to her brother Amnon's house; and

he was laid {down}. And she took flour, and kneaded [it], and

made cakes in his sight, and did bake the cakes.

down 2SA 15 20 Whereas thou camest [but] yesterday, should I

this day make thee go up and {down} with us? seeing I go whither

I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and truth

[be] with thee.

people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred

thousand valiant men that {drew} the sword; and the men of Judah

[were] five hundred thousand men.

drink 2SA 11 11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel,

and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of

my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into

mine house, to eat and to {drink}, and to lie with my wife? [as]

thou livest, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.

drink 2SA 11 13 And when David had called him, he did eat and

{drink} before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went

out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went

not down to his house.

by these? And Ziba said, The asses [be] for the king's household

to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to

eat; and the wine, that such as be faint in the wilderness may

discern between good and evil? can thy servant taste what I eat

give me {drink} of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which

[is] by the gate!

drink 2SA 23 16 And the three mighty men brake through the host

of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem,

that [was] by the gate, and took [it], and brought [it] to David:

nevertheless he would not {drink} thereof, but poured it out

unto the LORD.

drink 2SA 23 17 And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I

should do this: [is not this] the blood of the men that went in

jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not {drink} it.

These things did these three mighty men.

dropped 2SA 21 10 And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth,

and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of

harvest until water {dropped} upon them out of heaven, and

suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day,

nor the beasts of the field by night.

drunk 2SA 11 13 And when David had called him, he did eat and

drink before him; and he made him {drunk}: and at even he went

out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went

not down to his house.

dust 2SA 16 13 And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei

went along on the hill's side over against him, and cursed as he

went, and threw stones at him, and cast {dust}.

[was] Micha. And all that {dwelt} in the house of Ziba [were]

servants unto Mephibosheth.

dwelt 2SA 09 13 So Mephibosheth {dwelt} in Jerusalem: for he did

eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his

feet.

dwelt 2SA 14 28 So Absalom {dwelt} two full years in Jerusalem,

and saw not the king's face.
