could <DAN5 -:8 > Then came in all the king's wise [men]: but

they {could} not read the writing, nor make known to the king

the interpretation thereof.

could <DAN5 -:15 > And now the wise [men], the astrologers, have

been brought in before me, that they should read this writing,

and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they

{could} not show the interpretation of the thing:

could <DAN6 -:4 > Then the presidents and princes sought to find

occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they {could}

find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he [was] faithful,

neither was there any error or fault found in him.

could <DAN8 -:4 > I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward,

and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither

[was there any] that {could} deliver out of his hand; but he did

according to his will, and became great.

could <DAN8 -:7 > And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he

was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake

his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before

him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him:

and there was none that {could} deliver the ram out of his hand.

could <REV7 -:9 > After this I beheld, and, lo, a great

multitude, which no man {could} number, of all nations, and

kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and

before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their

hands;

could <REV14 -:3 > And they sung as it were a new song before

the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no

man {could} learn that song but the hundred [and] forty [and]

four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
