DANIEL CHAPTER 3

DAN 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose

height [was]

threescore cubits, [and] the breadth thereof six cubits:he set

it up in the

plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. <g babylon> <g

breadth>

<g cubits> <g dura> <g gold> <g height> <g image> <g king>

<g made> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g plain> <g province> <g set>

<g six> <g thereof> <g threescore> <g whose>

DAN 3:2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the

princes, the

governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the

counsellors, the

sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the

dedication of the

image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. <g all> <g

captains>

<g come> <g counsellors> <g dedication> <g gather>

<g governors> <g had> <g image> <g judges> <g king>

<g nebuchadnezzar> <g princes> <g provinces> <g rulers>

<g sent> <g set> <g sheriffs> <g then> <g together>

<g treasurers> <g which>

DAN 3:3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the

judges, the treasurers,

the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the

provinces, were gathered

together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar

the king had set

up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set

up. <g all>

<g before> <g captains> <g counsellors> <g dedication>

<g gathered> <g governors> <g had> <g image> <g judges>

<g king> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g princes> <g provinces>

<g rulers> <g set> <g sheriffs> <g stood> <g then>

<g together> <g treasurers>

DAN 3:4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O

people, nations,

and languages, <g aloud> <g commanded> <g cried> <g herald>

<g languages> <g nations> <g people> <g then>

DAN 3:5 [That] at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet,

flute, harp,

sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall

down and worship the

golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:<g all> <g

cornet>

<g down> <g dulcimer> <g fall> <g flute> <g golden>

<g harp> <g hath> <g hear> <g image> <g kinds> <g king>

<g music> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g psaltery> <g sackbut> <g set>

<g sound> <g time> <g what> <g worship>

DAN 3:6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the

same hour be cast

into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. <g burning> <g cast>

<g down> <g falleth> <g fiery> <g furnace> <g hour>

<g into> <g midst> <g same> <g whoso> <g worshippeth>

DAN 3:7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the

sound of the cornet,

flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of music, all the

people, the

nations, and the languages, fell down [and] worshipped the

golden image that

Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. <g all> <g cornet> <g down>

<g fell> <g flute> <g golden> <g had> <g harp> <g heard>

<g image> <g kinds> <g king> <g languages> <g music>

<g nations> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g people> <g psaltery>

<g sackbut> <g set> <g sound> <g therefore> <g time>

<g when> <g worshipped>

DAN 3:8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and

accused the Jews.

<g came> <g certain> <g chaldeans> <g jews> <g near>

<g time> <g wherefore>

DAN 3:9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king,

live for ever.

<g ever> <g king> <g live> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g said>

<g spake>

DAN 3:10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that

shall hear the

sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and

dulcimer, and all kinds

of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image:<g all>

<g cornet>

<g decree> <g down> <g dulcimer> <g every> <g fall>

<g flute> <g golden> <g harp> <g hast> <g hear> <g image>

<g kinds> <g king> <g made> <g man> <g music> <g psaltery>

<g sackbut> <g sound> <g worship>

DAN 3:11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, [that] he

should be cast

into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. <g burning> <g cast>

<g down> <g falleth> <g fiery> <g furnace> <g into>

<g midst> <g should> <g whoso> <g worshippeth>

DAN 3:12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the

affairs of the

province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men,

O king, have not

regarded thee:they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden

image which thou

hast set up. <g affairs> <g are> <g babylon> <g certain>

<g gods> <g golden> <g hast> <g have> <g image> <g jews>

<g king> <g men> <g meshach> <g nor> <g over> <g province>

<g regarded> <g serve> <g set> <g shadrach> <g there>

<g these> <g which> <g whom> <g worship>

DAN 3:13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in [his] rage and fury commanded to

bring Shadrach,

Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the

king. <g before>

<g bring> <g brought> <g commanded> <g fury> <g king>

<g men> <g meshach> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g rage> <g shadrach>

<g then> <g these>

DAN 3:14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, [Is it] true,

O Shadrach,

Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the

golden image which

I have set up? <g do> <g gods> <g golden> <g have> <g image>

<g meshach> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g nor> <g said> <g serve>

<g set> <g shadrach> <g spake> <g true> <g which>

<g worship>

DAN 3:15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound

of the cornet,

flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of

music, ye fall down

and worship the image which I have made; [well] :but if ye

worship not, ye shall

be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace;

and who [is]

that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? <g all> <g

burning>

<g cast> <g cornet> <g deliver> <g down> <g dulcimer>

<g fall> <g fiery> <g flute> <g furnace> <g god> <g hands>

<g harp> <g have> <g hear> <g hour> <g image> <g into>

<g kinds> <g made> <g midst> <g music> <g now>

<g psaltery> <g ready> <g sackbut> <g same> <g sound>

<g time> <g well> <g what> <g which> <g who> <g worship>

DAN 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to

the king, O

Nebuchadnezzar, we [are] not careful to answer thee in this

matter.

<g answer> <g answered> <g are> <g careful> <g king>

<g matter> <g meshach> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g said>

<g shadrach> <g this>

DAN 3:17 If it be [so] , our God whom we serve is able to

deliver us from the

burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thine

hand, O king.

<g burning> <g deliver> <g fiery> <g furnace> <g god>

<g hand> <g king> <g serve> <g so> <g thine> <g whom>

<g will>

DAN 3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will

not serve thy

gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. <g

gods>

<g golden> <g hast> <g image> <g king> <g known> <g nor>

<g serve> <g set> <g which> <g will> <g worship>

DAN 3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of

his visage was

changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego:[therefore] he

spake, and

commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more

than it was wont

to be heated. <g against> <g changed> <g commanded> <g form>

<g full> <g furnace> <g fury> <g heat> <g heated>

<g meshach> <g more> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g one> <g seven>

<g shadrach> <g should> <g spake> <g than> <g then>

<g therefore> <g times> <g visage> <g wont>

DAN 3:20 And he commanded the most mighty men that [were] in his

army to bind

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, [and] to cast [them] into the

burning fiery

furnace. <g army> <g bind> <g burning> <g cast> <g commanded>

<g fiery> <g furnace> <g into> <g men> <g meshach>

<g mighty> <g most> <g shadrach>

DAN 3:21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen,

and their hats,

and their [other] garments, and were cast into the midst of the

burning fiery

furnace. <g bound> <g burning> <g cast> <g coats> <g fiery>

<g furnace> <g garments> <g hats> <g hosen> <g into>

<g men> <g midst> <g other> <g then> <g these>

DAN 3:22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent,

and the furnace

exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up

Shadrach,

Meshach, and Abednego. <g because> <g commandment> <g exceeding>

<g fire> <g flame> <g furnace> <g hot> <g men> <g meshach>

<g shadrach> <g slew> <g therefore> <g those> <g took>

<g urgent>

DAN 3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,

fell down bound

into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. <g bound> <g

burning>

<g down> <g fell> <g fiery> <g furnace> <g into> <g men>

<g meshach> <g midst> <g shadrach> <g these> <g three>

DAN 3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up

in haste, [and]

spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men

bound into the

midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O

king.

<g answered> <g astonied> <g bound> <g cast> <g counsellors>

<g did> <g fire> <g haste> <g into> <g king> <g men>

<g midst> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g rose> <g said> <g spake>

<g then> <g three> <g true>

DAN 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking

in the midst of

the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is

like the Son of

God. <g answered> <g fire> <g form> <g four> <g fourth>

<g god> <g have> <g hurt> <g like> <g lo> <g loose>

<g men> <g midst> <g no> <g said> <g see> <g son>

<g walking>

DAN 3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the

burning fiery furnace,

[ and] spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye

servants of the most

high God, come forth, and come [hither] . Then Shadrach, Meshach,

 and Abednego,

came forth of the midst of the fire. <g burning> <g came> <g

come>

<g fiery> <g fire> <g forth> <g furnace> <g god> <g high>

<g hither> <g meshach> <g midst> <g most> <g mouth>

<g near> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g said> <g servants> <g shadrach>

<g spake> <g then>

DAN 3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the

king's counsellors,

being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the

fire had no power,

nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats

changed, nor the

smell of fire had passed on them. <g being> <g bodies> <g

captains>

<g changed> <g coats> <g counsellors> <g fire> <g gathered>

<g governors> <g had> <g hair> <g head> <g men>

<g neither> <g no> <g nor> <g on> <g passed> <g power>

<g princes> <g saw> <g singed> <g smell> <g these>

<g together> <g whose>

DAN 3:28 [Then] Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed [be] the

God of

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and

delivered his

servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word,

and yielded their

bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except

their own God.

<g angel> <g any> <g blessed> <g bodies> <g changed>

<g delivered> <g except> <g god> <g hath> <g have> <g him>

<g meshach> <g might> <g nebuchadnezzar> <g nor> <g own>

<g said> <g sent> <g servants> <g serve> <g shadrach>

<g spake> <g then> <g trusted> <g who> <g word>

<g worship> <g yielded>

DAN 3:29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation,

and language, which

speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and

Abednego, shall

be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill:

because there is no

other God that can deliver after this sort. <g after> <g against>

<g amiss> <g any> <g because> <g can> <g cut> <g decree>

<g deliver> <g dunghill> <g every> <g god> <g houses>

<g language> <g made> <g make> <g meshach> <g nation>

<g no> <g other> <g people> <g pieces> <g shadrach>

<g sort> <g speak> <g there> <g therefore> <g thing>

<g this> <g which>

DAN 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,

in the province

of Babylon. <g babylon> <g king> <g meshach> <g promoted>

<g province> <g shadrach> <g then>
