CHAPTER 10

:1  And I saw <G 1492> another <G 0243> mighty <G 2478> angel <G

0032> come <G

2597> down <G 2597> from heaven <G 3772>, clothed <G 4016> with

a cloud <G

3507>: and a rainbow <G 2463> [was] upon his head <G 2776>, and

his face <G

4383> [was] as it were the sun <G 2246>, and his feet <G 4228>

as pillars <G

4769> of fire <G 4442>:

:2  And he had <G 2192> in his hand <G 5495> a little <G 0974>

book <G 0974>

open <G 0455>: and he set <G 5087> his right <G 1188> foot <G

4228> upon the sea

<G 2281>, and [his] left <G 2176> [foot] on <G 1909> the earth

<G 1093>,

:3  And cried <G 2896> with a loud <G 3173> voice <G 5456>, as

[when] a lion <G

3023> roareth <G 3455>: and when <G 3753> he had cried <G 2896>,

seven <G 2033>

thunders <G 1027> uttered <G 2980> their voices <G 5456>.

:4  And when <G 3753> the seven <G 2033> thunders <G 1027> had

uttered <G 2980>

their voices <G 5456>, I was about <G 3195> to write <G 1125>:

and I heard <G

0191> a voice <G 5456> from heaven <G 3772> saying <G 3004> unto

me, Seal <G

4972> up those things which <G 3739> the seven <G 2033> thunders

<G 1027>

uttered <G 2980>, and write <G 1125> them not.

:5  And the angel <G 0032> which <G 3739> I saw <G 1492> stand

<G 2476> upon the

sea <G 2281> and upon the earth <G 1093> lifted <G 0142> up his

hand <G 5495> to

heaven <G 3772>,

:6  And sware <G 3660> by him that liveth <G 2198> for ever <G

0165> and ever <G

0165>, who created <G 2936> heaven <G 3772>, and the things that

therein <G

0846> are, and the earth <G 1093>, and the things that therein

<G 0846> are, and

the sea <G 2281>, and the things which are therein <G 0846>,

that there should

be time <G 5550> no <G 3756> longer <G 2089>:

:7  But in the days <G 2250> of the voice <G 5456> of the

seventh <G 1442> angel

<G 0032>, when <G 3752> he shall begin <G 3195> to sound <G

4537>, the mystery

<G 3466> of God <G 2316> should be finished <G 5055>, as he hath

declared <G

2097> to his servants <G 1401> the prophets <G 4396>.

:8  And the voice <G 5456> which <G 3739> I heard <G 0191> from

heaven <G 3772>

spake <G 2980> unto me again <G 3825>, and said <G 3004>, Go <G

5217> [and] take

<G 2983> the little <G 0974> book <G 0974> which <G 3588> is

open <G 0455> in

the hand <G 5495> of the angel <G 0032> which <G 3588> standeth

<G 2476> upon

the sea <G 2281> and upon the earth <G 1093>.

:9  And I went <G 0565> unto the angel <G 0032>, and said <G

3004> unto him,

Give <G 1325> me the little <G 0974> book <G 0974>. And he said

<G 3004> unto

me, Take <G 2983> [it], and eat <G 2719> it up; and it shall

make <G 4087> thy

belly <G 2836> bitter <G 4087>, but it shall be in thy mouth <G

4750> sweet <G

1099> as honey <G 3192>.

:10  And I took <G 2983> the little <G 0974> book <G 0974> out

of the angel's <G

0032> hand <G 5495>, and ate <G 2719> it up; and it was in my

mouth <G 4750>

sweet <G 1099> as honey <G 3192>: and as soon <G 3753> as I had

eaten <G 5315>

it, my belly <G 2836> was bitter <G 4087>.

:11  And he said <G 3004> unto me, Thou must <G 1163> prophesy

<G 4395> again <G

3825> before <G 1909> many <G 4183> peoples <G 2992>, and

nations <G 1484>, and

tongues <G 1100>, and kings <G 0935>.
