16. For I am not ashamed <1870-epaischunomai-> of the gospel

18 For the wrath <3709-orge-> of God <2316-theos-> is revealed
<0601-apokalupto-> from heaven <3772-ouranos-> against <1909-epi-

Romans 2

2 But we are sure <1492-eido-> that the judgment <2917-krima->

10 But glory <1391-doxa->, honour <5092-time->, and peace <1515-
eirene->, to every <3956-pas-> man <3956-pas-> that worketh
<2038-ergazomai-> good <0018-agathos->, to the Jew <2453-
Ioudaios-> first <4412-proton->, and also <2532-kai-> to the
Gentile <1672-Hellen->:
11 For there is no <3756-ou-> respect <4382-prosopolepsia-> of
persons <4382-prosopolepsia-> with God <2316-theos->.
12 For as many <3745-hosos-> as have sinned <0264-hamartano->
without <0460-anomos-> law <0460-anomos-> shall also <2532-kai->
perish <0622-apollumi-> without <0460-anomos-> law <0460-anomos-
>: and as many <3745-hosos-> as have sinned <0264-hamartano-> in
the law <3551-nomos-> shall be judged <2919-krino-> by the law
<3551-nomos->;
13 (For not the hearers <0202-akroates-> of the law <3551-nomos-

>, but the doers <4163-poietes-> of the law <3551-nomos-> shall

poieo-> by nature <5449-phusis-> the things contained in the law

their hearts <2588-kardia->, their conscience <4893-suneidesis->

> shall judge <2919-krino-> the secrets <2927-kruptos-> of men

17. Behold <2396-ide->, thou art called <2028-eponomazo-> a Jew
<2453-Ioudaios->, and restest <1879-epanapauomai-> in the law
<3551-nomos->, and makest <2744-kauchaomai-> thy boast <2744-
kauchaomai-> of God <2316-theos->,
18 And knowest <1097-ginosko-> [his] will <2307-thelema->, and
approvest <1381-dokimazo-> the things that are more excellent
<1308-diaphero->, being instructed <2727-katecheo-> out of the
law <3551-nomos->;
19 And art confident <3982-peitho-> that thou thyself <4572-
seautou-> art a guide <3595-hodegos-> of the blind <5185-tuphlos-
>, a light <5457-phos-> of them which are in darkness <4655-

20 An instructor <3810-paideutes-> of the foolish <0878-aphron-

didasko-> another <2087-heteros->, teachest <1321-didasko-> thou
not thyself <4572-seautou->? thou that preachest <2784-kerusso->
a man should not steal <2813-klepto->, dost thou steal <2813-
klepto->?
22 Thou that sayest <3004-lego-> a man should not commit <3431-
moicheuo-> adultery <3431-moicheuo->, dost thou commit <3431-
moicheuo-> adultery <3431-moicheuo->? thou that abhorrest <0948-
bdelusso-> idols <1497-eidolon->, dost thou commit <2416-

23 Thou that makest <2744-kauchaomai-> thy boast <2744-
kauchaomai-> of the law <3551-nomos->, through <1223-dia->
breaking <3847-parabasis-> the law <3551-nomos-> dishonourest

24 For the name <3686-onoma-> of God <2316-theos-> is
blasphemed <0987-blasphemeo-> among <1722-en-> the Gentiles
<1484-ethnos-> through <1223-dia-> you, as it is written <1125-

25 For circumcision <4061-peritome-> verily <3303-men->
profiteth <5623-opheleo->, if <1437-ean-> thou keep <4238-prasso-
> the law <3551-nomos->: but if <1437-ean-> thou be a breaker
<3848-parabates-> of the law <3551-nomos->, thy circumcision
<4061-peritome-> is made <1096-ginomai-> uncircumcision <0203-
akrobustia->.
26 Therefore <3767-oun-> if <1437-ean-> the uncircumcision
<0203-akrobustia-> keep <5442-phulasso-> the righteousness <1345-
dikaioma-> of the law <3551-nomos->, shall not his
uncircumcision <0203-akrobustia-> be counted <3049-logizomai->

27 And shall not uncircumcision <0203-akrobustia-> which is by
nature <5449-phusis->, if it fulfil <5055-teleo-> the law <3551-
nomos->, judge <2919-krino-> thee, who <3588-ho-> by the letter
<1121-gramma-> and circumcision <4061-peritome-> dost transgress

28 For he is not a Jew <2453-Ioudaios->, which is one outwardly
<5318-phaneros->; neither <3761-oude-> [is that] circumcision
<4061-peritome->, which is outward <5318-phaneros-> in the flesh

29 But he [is] a Jew <2453-Ioudaios->, which is one inwardly
<2927-kruptos->; and circumcision <4061-peritome-> [is that] of
the heart <2588-kardia->, in the spirit <4151-pneuma->, [and]
not in the letter <1121-gramma->; whose <3739-hos-> praise <1868-
epainos-> [is] not of men <0444-anthropos->, but of God <2316-

Romans 3
1. What <5101-tis-> advantage <4053-perissos-> then <3767-oun->
hath the Jew <2453-Ioudaios->? or <2228-e-> what <5101-tis->
profit <5622-opheleia-> [is there] of circumcision <4061-
peritome->?
2 Much <4183-polus-> every <3956-pas-> way <5158-tropos->:
chiefly <4412-proton->, because <3754-hoti-> that unto them were
committed <4100-pisteuo-> the oracles <3051-logion-> of God
<2316-theos->.
3 For what <5101-tis-> if <1487-ei-> some <5100-tis-> did not
believe <0569-apisteo->? shall their unbelief <0570-apaistia->
make <2673-katargeo-> the faith <4102-pistis-> of God <2316-
theos-> without <2673-katargeo-> effect <2673-katargeo->?
4 God <1096-ginomai-> forbid <1096-ginomai->: yea <1161-de->,
let God <2316-theos-> be true <0227-alethes->, but every <3956-
pas-> man <0444-anthropos-> a liar <5583-pseustes->; as it is
written <1125-grapho->, That thou mightest be justified <1344-
dikaioo-> in thy sayings <3056-logos->, and mightest overcome

5 But if <1487-ei-> our unrighteousness <0093-adikia-> commend
<4921-sunistao-> the righteousness <1343-dikaiosune-> of God
<2316-theos->, what <5101-tis-> shall we say <2046-ereo->? [Is]
God <2316-theos-> unrighteous <0094-adikos-> who <3588-ho->
taketh <2018-epiphero-> vengeance <3709-orge->? (I speak <3004-
lego-> as a man <0444-anthropos->)
6 God <1096-ginomai-> forbid <1096-ginomai->: for then how
<4459-pos-> shall God <2316-theos-> judge <2919-krino-> the
world <2889-kosmos->?
7 For if <1487-ei-> the truth <0225-aletheia-> of God <2316-
theos-> hath more abounded <4052-perisseuo-> through <1722-en->
my lie <5582-pseusma-> unto his glory <1391-doxa->; why <5101-
tis-> yet <2089-eti-> am I also <2504-kago-> judged <2919-krino-
> as a sinner <0268-hamartolos->?
8 And not [rather], (as we be slanderously <0987-blasphemeo->
reported <0987-blasphemeo->, and as some <5100-tis-> affirm
<5346-phemi-> that we say <3004-lego->,) Let us do <4160-poieo->
evil <2556-kakos->, that good <0018-agathos-> may come <2064-
erchomai->? whose <3739-hos-> damnation <2917-krima-> is just

proechomai-> [than they]? No <3756-ou->, in no <3843-pantos->
wise <3843-pantos->: for we have before <4256-proaitiaomai->
