1538 -hekastos woman have 2192 -echo her own 2398 -idios husband

      :3 Let the husband 0435 -aner render 0591 -apodidomi unto

the wife 1135 -gune due 3784 -opheilo benevolence 2133 -eunoia :

and likewise 3668 -homoios also 2532 -kai the wife 1135 -gune

unto the husband 0435 -aner .

      :4 The wife 1135 -gune hath not power 1850 -exousiazo of

her own 2398 -idios body 4983 -soma , but the husband 0435 -aner

: and likewise 3668 -homoios also 2532 -kai the husband 0435 -

aner hath not power 1850 -exousiazo of his own 2398 -idios body

4983 -soma , but the wife 1135 -gune .

      :5 Defraud 0650 -apostereo ye not one 0240 -allelon the

      :11 But and if 1437 -ean she depart 5562 -choreo , let her

the Lord 2962 -kurios : If 1487 -ei any 1536 -ei tis brother

0080 -adephos hath 2192 -echo a wife 1135 -gune that believeth

0571 -apistos not, and she be pleased 4909 -suneudokeo to dwell

3611 -oikeo with him, let him not put 0863 -aphiemi her away

      :13 And the woman 1135 -gune which 3748 -hostis hath 2192 -

unbelieving 0571 -apistos wife 1135 -gune is sanctified 0037 -

hagiazo by the husband 0435 -aner : else 0686 -ara were your

5216 -humon children 5043 -teknon unclean 0169 -akathartos ; but

now 3568 -nun are they holy 0040 -hagios .

      :15 But if 1487 -ei the unbelieving 0571 -apistos depart

5562 -choreo , let him depart 5562 -choreo . A brother 0080 -

adephos or 2228 -e a sister 0079 -adelphe is not under bondage

1402 -douloo in such 5108 -toioutos [cases]: but God 2316 -theos

hath called 2564 -kaleo us to peace 1515 -eirene .

      :16 For what 5101 -tis knowest 1492 -eido thou, O wife

1135 -gune , whether 1487 -ei thou shalt save 4982 -sozo [thy]

husband 0435 -aner ? or 2228 -e how 5101 -tis knowest 1492 -eido

      17 But as God 2316 -theos hath distributed 3307 -merizo to

      :18 Is any 5100 -tis man called 2564 -kaleo being

circumcised 4059 -peritemno ? let him not become 1986 -

epispaomai uncircumcised 1986 -epispaomai . Is any 5100 -tis

called 2564 -kaleo in uncircumcision 0203 -akrobustia ? let him

not be circumcised 4059 -peritemno .

      :19 Circumcision 4061 -peritome is nothing 3762 -oudeis ,

and uncircumcision 0203 -akrobustia is nothing 3762 -oudeis ,

but the keeping 5084 -teresis of the commandments 1785 -entole

of God 2316 -theos .

      :20 Let every 1538 -hekastos man abide 3306 -meno in the

same 5026 -taute calling 2821 -klesis wherein 3757 -hou he was

called 2564 -kaleo .

      :21 Art thou called 2564 -kaleo [being] a servant 1401 -

doulos ? care 3199 -melo not for it: but if 1499 -ei kai thou

mayest 1410 -dunamai be made 1096 -ginomai free 1658 -eleutheros

      :22 For he that is called 2564 -kaleo in the Lord 2962 -

kurios , [being] a servant 1401 -doulos , is the Lord's 2962 -

      :23 Ye are bought 0059 -agorazo with a price 5092 -time ;

be not ye the servants 1401 -doulos of men 0444 -anthropos .

      :24 Brethren 0080 -adephos , let every 1538 -hekastos man,

wherein 3757 -hou he is called 2564 -kaleo , therein 5129 -

toutoi abide 3306 -meno with God 2316 -theos .

      :25 Now 1161 -de concerning 4012 -peri virgins 3933 -

parthenos I have 2192 -echo no 3756 -ou commandment 2003 -

epitage of the Lord 2962 -kurios : yet 1161 -de I give 1325 -

didomi my judgment 1106 -gnome , as one that hath obtained 1653 -

distress 0318 -anagke , [I say], that [it is] good 2570 -kalos

for a man 0444 -anthropos so 3779 -houto to be.

      :27 Art thou bound 1210 -deo unto a wife 1135 -gune ? seek

2212 -zeteo not to be loosed 3089 -luo . Art thou loosed 3080 -

lusis from a wife 1135 -gune ? seek 2212 -zeteo not a wife 1135 -

gune .

      :28 But and if 1437 -ean thou marry 1060 -gameo , thou

hast not sinned 0264 -hamartano ; and if 1437 -ean a virgin 3933

-parthenos marry 1060 -gameo , she hath not sinned 0264 -

hamartano . Nevertheless 1161 -de such 5108 -toioutos shall have

      :29 But this 5124 -touto I say 5346 -phemi , brethren 0080

-adephos , the time 2540 -kairos [is] short 4958 -sustello : it

remaineth 3063 -loipon , that both 2532 -kai they that have 2192

-echo wives 1135 -gune be as though they had 2192 -echo none

      :30 And they that weep 2799 -klaio , as though they wept

amerimnos carefulness 0275 -amerimnos . He that is unmarried

the Lord 2962 -kurios :

      :33 But he that is married 1060 -gameo careth 3309 -

merimnao for the things that are of the world 2889 -kosmos , how

4459 -pos he may please 0700 -aresko [his] wife 1135 -gune .

      :34 There is difference 3307 -merizo [also] between 3307 -

merizo a wife 1135 -gune and a virgin 3933 -parthenos . The

unmarried 0022 -agamos woman 1135 -gune careth 3309 -merimnao

for the things of the Lord 2962 -kurios , that she may be holy

0040 -hagios both 2532 -kai in body 4983 -soma and in spirit

4151 -pneuma : but she that is married 1060 -gameo careth 3309 -

merimnao for the things of the world 2889 -kosmos , how 4459 -

pos she may please 0700 -aresko [her] husband 0435 -aner .

      :35 And this 5124 -touto I speak 3004 -lego for your 5216 -

humon own 0846 -autos profit 4851 -sumphero ; not that I may

cast 1911 -epiballo a snare 1029 -brochos upon you, but for that

which is comely 2158 -euschemon , and that ye may attend 2145 -

euprosedros upon the Lord 2962 -kurios without 0563 -

aperispastos distraction 0563 -aperispastos .

      :36 But if 1487 -ei any 5100 -tis man think 3543 -nomizo

that he behaveth 0807 -aschemoneo himself uncomely 0807 -

aschemoneo toward 1909 -epi his virgin 3933 -parthenos , if 1437

-ean she pass 5230 -huperakmos the flower 5230 -huperakmos of

[her] age 5230 -huperakmos , and need 3784 -opheilo so 3779 -

houto require 1096 -ginomai , let him do 4160 -poieo what 3739 -

hos he will 2309 -thelo , he sinneth 0264 -hamartano not: let

      :37 Nevertheless 1161 -de he that standeth 2476 -histemi

stedfast 1476 -hedraios in his heart 2588 -kardia , having 2192 -

      :38 So 5620 -hoste then 2532 -kai he that giveth [her] in

marriage 1547 -ekgamizo doeth 4160 -poieo well 2573 -kalos ; but

he that giveth [her] not in marriage 1547 -ekgamizo doeth 4160 -

poieo better 2573 -kalos .

      :39 The wife 1135 -gune is bound 1210 -deo by the law 3551

-nomos as long 5550 -chronos as her husband 0435 -aner liveth

2198 -zao ; but if 1437 -ean her husband 0435 -aner be dead 2837

-koimao , she is at 1657 -eleutheria liberty 1658 -eleutheros to

be married 1060 -gameo to whom 3739 -hos she will 2309 -thelo ;

only 3440 -monon in the Lord 2962 -kurios .

      :40 But she is happier 3107 -makarios if 1437 -ean she so

3779 -houto abide 3306 -meno , after 2596 -kata my judgment 1106
