understanding <DAN1 -:4 > Children in whom [was] no blemish, but

well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge,

and {understanding} science, and such as [had] ability in them to

stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning

and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

understanding <DAN1 -:17 > As for these four children, God gave them

knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had

{understanding} in all visions and dreams.

understanding <DAN1 -:20 > And in all matters of wisdom [and]

{understanding}, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten

times better than all the magicians [and] astrologers that [were] in

all his realm.

was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king,

[I say], thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers,

Chaldeans, [and] soothsayers;

understanding <DAN5 -:12 > Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and

knowledge, and {understanding}, interpreting of dreams, and showing

of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same

Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called,

and he will show the interpretation.

understanding <DAN5 -:14 > I have even heard of thee, that the

spirit of the gods [is] in thee, and [that] light and

{understanding} and excellent wisdom is found in thee.

understanding <DAN8 -:23 > And in the latter time of their kingdom,

when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce

countenance, and {understanding} dark sentences, shall stand up.

understanding <DAN9 -:22 > And he informed [me], and talked with me,

and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and

{understanding}.

understanding <DAN10 -:1 > In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia

a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called

Belteshazzar; and the thing [was] true, but the time appointed [was]

long: and he understood the thing, and had {understanding} of the

vision.

understanding <DAN11 -:35 > And [some] of them of {understanding}

shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make [them] white,

[even] to the time of the end: because [it is] yet for a time

appointed.

understanding <REV13 -:18 > Here is wisdom. Let him that hath

{understanding} count the number of the beast: for it is the number

of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six.
