whereas <DAN2 -:41 > And {whereas} thou sawest the feet and toes,

part of potter's clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be

divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron,

forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

whereas <DAN2 -:43 > And {whereas} thou sawest iron mixed with miry

clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they

shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with

clay.

whereas <DAN4 -:23 > And {whereas} the king saw a watcher and an

holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and

destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth,

even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the

field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his

portion [be] with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass

over him;

whereas <DAN4 -:26 > And {whereas} they commanded to leave the stump

of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that

thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.

whereas <DAN8 -:22 > Now that being broken, {whereas} four stood up

for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in

his power.
